Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons cooking oil
  • 1 med onion
  • 2 large toes garlic clove
  • 1 pound 73/27 Ground Beef
  • cups Cambells Tomato Juice
  • 8 ounces Hunts Tomato Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh basil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 16 ounce pack of Muellers Lasagna Noodles
  • 3 packs Mozzarella Cheese Slices
  • 11 ounces sour cream
  • ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • Finely chop onion, parsley and basil.
  • Sauté onion and garlic in hot oil, add hamburger and a little pepper in large pot. Fry til brown.
  • Add tomato juice, parsley, sugar, salt, basil, red peppers, tomato sauce and stir.
  • Simmer for 1 ½ hours.
  • Cook lasagna noodles
  • Lightly coat ceramic baking dish with oil. Make layers, alternate noodles, cheese, sour cream, then meat sauce.
  • When finished sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese.
  • Bake @ 350 for 20 - 30 min.
  • Let rest a few minutes and serve with garlic bread.
