The problem with chocolate chip cookies is that someone always scarfs them down before you can make an ice cream sandwich. So, we figured it’s just best to make Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream and beat them to the punch.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream

Equipment
- Ice Cream Maker
Ingredients
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 1½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- small pinch of salt
- 1½ cups broken up chocolate chip cookies
Instructions
- Freeze your ice cream maker bowl for 12-24 hours
- In a large bowl, whisk together heavy cream, condensed milk, vanilla, and salt
- Pour mixture into ice cream maker and churn according to device instructions
- When mixture begins to harden (12-15 min), add ½ cup of the chocolate chip cookies
- Once churning is complete and ice cream is nearly hard but still easily transferable, place in freezer-safe container, mix in remainder of chocolate chip cookies and freeze for 4-6 hours
