Indian Tacos are hearty meal that puts a flavorful spin on taco Tuesdays!
When I was in first grade, my mother packed my brother and I up and we headed west. We ended up on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in Browning, Montana. For a young kid, it was a memorable time full of livelong memories and adventure.
One such memory was attending the North American Indian Days, a four day celebration consisting of contest dancing, games, sports events and socializing. It was there I first tasted Indian Tacos and they were fantastic! My mother got a recipe from a local friend and they have been a favorite family meal ever since. Hope you enjoy!
