Grandma’s Lasagna

Grandma's Lasagna

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons cooking oil
- 1 med onion
- 2 large toes garlic clove
- 1 pound 73/27 Ground Beef
- 4½ cups Cambells Tomato Juice
- 8 ounces Hunts Tomato Sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil
- 2 teaspoons salt
- ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 16 ounce pack of Muellers Lasagna Noodles
- 3 packs Mozzarella Cheese Slices
- 11 ounces sour cream
- ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Finely chop onion, parsley and basil.
- Sauté onion and garlic in hot oil, add hamburger and a little pepper in large pot. Fry til brown.
- Add tomato juice, parsley, sugar, salt, basil, red peppers, tomato sauce and stir.
- Simmer for 1 ½ hours.
- Cook lasagna noodles
- Lightly coat ceramic baking dish with oil. Make layers, alternate noodles, cheese, sour cream, then meat sauce.
- When finished sprinkle top with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake @ 350 for 20 - 30 min.
- Let rest a few minutes and serve with garlic bread.
